I have been named Associate Dean for the new College of Social Sciences, effective January 1! It's a big deal, and both exciting and terrifying.

Congrats! I just found out that my promotion portfolio has passed the department and is now climbing up the chain.

Indeed! I just hope it goes through! I'd like to know how often they pass Department but get turned down at the College Level!
