Notes: Spoilers for XI. In this chapter, our intrepid Cadet surprises her Advanced Phonology teacher. I shamelessly plagiarized a drabble I wrote a couple of weeks ago, shifted it around a bit, rather than including it as a chapter on its own. The story will have at least one more chapter before the smut and possibly two outtakes from Uhura's POV, since there are some things that I know happened but I can't show you from Spock's POV!
